Forming a fundamental part of the companies Integrated Management System, the Health and Safety framework undergoes regular review through Internal and external audit.

Aspect employs a full time NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager who oversees day to day operation of the business, ensuring that all employees and contractors work to the highest standards of Health and Safety practices and comply with all areas of legislation and company policies.

Answering and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Health and Safety Manager regularly visits sites to monitor standards against the companies Health and Safety Plan and client specific requirements.


The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety is established as a leading health and safety award for the construction industry.

Aspect employs a full time NEBOSH qualified Safety Officer who actively promotes and nurtures a positive Health & Safety Culture within the company.



Statement of Intent

Health & and Safety and Environmental Policy Statement.

Aspect. recognises the requirements of Section 2(3) of the Health & Safety at Work Act and that good health and safety has positive benefits to the organisation and commitment to a high level of safety makes good business sense. It also recognises that health and safety is a primary business function and must, therefore, continually progress and adapt to changes. A positive health and safety culture is encouraged within the organisation and is actively supported by Senior Management.

The organisation shall constantly monitor its health and safety performance through actively monitoring its systems and procedures through audits and revues and by setting targets and objectives. In order to ensure the health and safety of everybody concerned, all Conservatek personnel, from Directors to Employees and Sub-Contractors shall, so far as is reasonably practicable, comply with the following codes of conduct: Key Objectives

  1. Take all necessary steps to ensure that systems are developed and maintained for the effective communication of health and safety matters throughout the organisation.
  2. Provide necessary information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure competence of employees and prevent accidents.
  3. Comply with relevant statutory requirements and Company systems, reporting any unsafe condition or defect.
  4. Identify, eliminate and control to an acceptable level of risk all work activities.
  5. Ensure the safe use, handling, storage and transport of substances hazardous to health.
  6. Understand and at all times act in accordance with their personal health and safety responsibilities.
  7. Prevent injury, loss or damage in the workplace or the environment.
  8. Provide and maintain safe environmentally sound working practices.


Sub-contractors must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire prior to working on any Aspect projects.
